Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional experience. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels.
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Proficient in cash handling and retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
