What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Media Specialist position at PARISH OF CADDO?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Main duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Conceptualize and create graphics for wide variety of print and online publications (Annual Report, PSA’s, flyers, etc.), website, video and social media channels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Assist in promoting the Parish’s social media presence through monitoring, posting and content creation; create and manages social content aligned with the Parish’s social media policy; works with the Communications Manager to develop relevant and engaging social media content across the Parish’s departments.
- Create, shoot and edit short videos and capture digital photos for social media/website use with short timelines.
- Assist the Communications Manager and Information Systems with website updates and content.
- Solid knowledge of software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Adobe, and/or associated graphics and video editing software.
- Position may require some alternative hours, such as nights, weekends and emergency/crisis events.
