Job Title: Managing Associate
Job Description:
The chief aim of the Managing Associate in Houston, TX, is to hire, coach, monitor, maintain, and expand a team of Sales Representatives at all levels of professional experience. The Managing Associate assists the General Manager in the overall marketing, growth, and development of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recruiting and training efforts to find and capitalize on business opportunities in Houston, TX
- Source and hire competent Financial Representative candidates in Houston, TX
- Facilitate training and guidance for Financial Representative personnel to equip them with the tools for success
- Monitor development and progress and provide regular updates to the General Agent and management team to guarantee the success and stability of every representative
- Periodically collaborate with field personnel to appraise and reinforce their sales, prospecting, and referral capabilities
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Professional designation such as CLU, ChFC, OR CFP
- FINRA series 7, 66 are preferred
- 4-6 years of insurance industry sales experience including 3-5 years of field management or agency distribution system
- Demonstrated background and success in firm building and recruitment preferred

Compensation:
$60,000 - $100,000 at plan year
