Typical Duties
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as requested.
- Attend and support project meetings and other official gatherings.
- Assist in planning and executing city projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports and memorandums on outcomes and milestones.
- Conduct research on municipal issues, public policies, and best practices from other jurisdictions and the private sector to target operational efficiencies or enhance customer services.
- Analyze data related to city services, budgets, and community needs.
- Participate in public meetings and forums.
- Help develop and implement new and innovative community outreach strategies.
- Educational Background:
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and ability to meet tight deadlines for written memorandums, briefings, and white papers.
- Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
