RATE OF PAY: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly (D.O.E)
SUMMARY: The Park City Municipal Corporation Public Utilities Department has a seasonal position open through the summer 2025. Under supervision of the Water Resource Manager, the Seasonal Water Operators will assist the Field Customer Service Operators, and will have primary responsibility for visiting each water meter box and documenting its condition. The successful candidate will need the ability to provide a high level of customer service to the community and its residents. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, eager to learn, and can communicate effectively. This is a seasonal position lasting through the summer of 2025, anticipated to work four 10-hour shifts including Monday, Friday and two other days.
JOB DUTIES:
Locate, document, and make repairs to existing water meter vaults.
Assists with meter repair, replacement, and installation.
Assists with ongoing capital improvement or inspection of meter infrastructure projects.
May be assigned a wide variety of other assignments based on the needs of the department.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid U.S. drivers license and a clean driving record.
Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred:
Experienced in operating a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Skilled driver with the ability to tow and backup a variety of small trailers and equipment.
Experience with water metering, vaults, meter radios, and meter reading technology.
Salary : $25 - $30
