Job Purpose:
Certified Elementary Education teacher will provide early intervention program services to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. Teacher will provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time.
Qualifications:
To be qualified for this position an applicant must possess a current and valid professional educator's certificate in Elementary Education (P-5) and ESOL (P-12)/ESOL Endorsement. Official transcripts, professional certification, and all test scores required to validate education and licensure.
This position is not available for individuals seeking alternative preparation for certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:
1.Minimum three years of recent, acceptable teaching experience in primary grades and teaching of reading in primary grades.
2. Ability to establish a collaborative relationship with other teachers, parents, and administrators.
3. A personal commitment to self-reflection, learning new skills, and acquiring new knowledge.
