Description
The Bus Coordinator will coordinate and maintain bus routes for campers and daily bus usage by camps during the summer camp season.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Job Duties Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain daily communication with camp directors, bus drivers, and bus company.
- Collaborate with Camp Supervisors to enhance the efficiency and utilization of bus transportation across all camps.
- Coordinate routes for field trips and local outings.
- Provide guidance to bus drivers and bus counselors.
- Dispense route and pertinent information to bus drivers, camper parents, camp directors and supervisors.
- Report any problems, unsafe conditions, behavior issues and accidents to the Recreation Supervisor.
- Perform other Park District related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Wage Range: $18.50-$18.50 per hour
Classification: Seasonal, non-exempt
