Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Immediate Care APRN to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, treating acute conditions, managing chronic illnesses, and promoting overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate/urgent care services, including diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and minor injuries.
• Perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system.
• Adhere to FQHC guidelines and policies to provide equitable healthcare to all patients.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted APRN license in Kentucky.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in urgent care, primary care, or a similar setting preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Experience working with diverse and underserved populations is a plus.
