Location: Park DuValle (Wilson)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced midwife to join our team. As a midwife, you will be responsible for providing care and support to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. You will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

Responsibilities

• Conducting prenatal visits and providing education and support to expectant mothers
• Monitoring fetal development and maternal health throughout pregnancy
• Assisting with labor and delivery, including providing pain management and emotional support
• Conducting postpartum visits and providing education and support to new mothers
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mother and baby
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
• Educate patients regarding reproductive health, prenatal care, and preventative care.
• Manage labor and deliveries in collaboration with healthcare providers when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies.
  
  

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program
• Current state license as a midwife
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a midwife
• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Experience or interest in working with underserved populations
