Park Energy is seeking experienced Field Technicians at all levels to join our team. The position offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
The ideal candidate will safely operate, maintain, repair, and set multiple types of natural gas compressors in their assigned area for Park Energy Services.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Read gas meters and record instrumentation data, including gas received/delivered/consumed, and report any operational changes as needed.
- Monitor gauges, dials, or indicators to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Learn the function and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems associated with natural gas compressors.
- Properly set units and perform start-up procedures on location.
- Maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units.
- Use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets, and other items as needed.
- Utilize electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing, or commissioning equipment.
- Assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls.
- Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a current and valid driver's license.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn and efficiently utilize other software tools and applications beneficial to the position.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with all levels of co-workers.
- Able to work independently or collaboratively with others.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 years of mechanical experience on engines and/or other mechanical equipment for a Field Tech I; additional years of experience are required for higher levels.
