Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely setting, maintaining, repairing, and operating multiple types of natural gas compressors in their respective area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read gas meters and instrumentation, recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed, and report any operational, temperature, and pressure changes as needed in operating logs.
- Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Set units and perform start-up procedures on location.
- Maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units.
- Assist with overhaul of engines, compressors, and related components.
- Assist in disassembly and removal of units from location.
- Use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets, and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is needed.
- Use electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing, or commissioning equipment.
- Coordinate and assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repair and maintenance.
- Will have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls.
- Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a current and valid driver's license.
- Other duties as assigned.
