What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portrait Photographer position at Park Hill Portraits?
Introduction
Park Hill Fine Art Portraits is currently seeking experienced portrait photographers with 3 years experience in a studio environment. A dynamic personality is a MUST. Our photographers are extremely confident with an eye for detail and a passion for making others feel amazing. This is not a position for shy people or anyone unwilling to step out of their comfort zones. Selling is not required but sales experience is a plus.
We are a fun, family oriented company who care for one another. Benefits include competive base plus commission, paid time off, and paid health insurance. Ideal candidates have worked for another studio and know family posing basics used in classic portraiture.
The ideal candidate can connect quickly with clients of all ages and backgrounds to create an incredible experience and capture the best expressions that wow clients. A strong background in professions dealing with people and/or children is strongly preferred. You must love and accept people from all backgrounds and have lots of patience and tolerance for pets and children.
Our studio is known for attention to detail, professionalism, and warmth. Integrity, character, leadership, and outgoing personality are the most important qualities when working at our studio.

As Studio Photographer, You Will Be Expected To
- Represent our luxury studio brand in a professional manner
- Build massive rapport and offer an incredible experience for the client
- Be the expert in the room - our clients rely on you to direct them
- Engage children of all ages to capture their best expressions
- Create beautiful images in our specific style (training provided)
- Download and cull images using MacOS
Studio photographers should possess the following qualities:
- Positive, CONFIDENT, energetic, and upbeat personality
- Experience with children of all ages
- Willingness to learn and coachable, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work quickly and remain calm in a fast paced environment.
- Timeliness and reliability are essential.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Love dogs and cats!!
Salary : $18 - $70
