This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities for a specific region of the organization. This role will partner with the Regional Controller and operations to create synergy and cohesive relations between operations and finance.
Essential Functions
Assists the regional controller in the direction of the accounting functions of the group.Oversees the day-to-day activities of the seniors and staff, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the financial information for the region.Supports the regional controller with review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and compliance with IFRS.Performs a detailed review of the reporting packages making sure they follow the requirements set forth by the financial reporting team.Provides financial and accounting guidance to the field as needed.Assists with the audit as applicable.Completes additional projects as assigned by the regional controller.Other duties as assigned.Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience required.5 to 7 years of public company experience.1 to 2 years of supervisory experience is a plus, but not required.Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Industry experience strongly desired.Demonstrated aptitude for understanding system-based processing and controls.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Must be able to work independently and as a team player.Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.Work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.Supervisory Responsibility
