RESPONSIBILITIES #LI-Hybrid
- Documents and evaluates internal controls, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluates business risks.
- Performs audit procedures, including reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
- Identifies potential audit issues and makes recommendations to Senior Auditor and/or Manager.
- Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
- Completes on-going professional development opportunities and obtains relevant certifications within three years of joining the department.
- Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
- Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE
Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.
A flexible work arrangement for this role is two days on-site at our Newark, Ohio Headquarters, and three days remote (Sept to May), with one day on-site during the summer.
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
- 1-2 years audit or financial related work experience required.
- Relevant certification required within three-years of joining the department.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel required on an as needed basis.
