Position Summary
Serves as a back-up for Patch Test Technicians – produces patches and maintains antigens, schedules patients referred for patch testing triages phone calls and patient issues. Serves as liaison between patients and providers and assisting the providers in other patch testing duties as needed, such as maintaining a database of positive reactions, assisting with history intake/documentation, assisting with occupational cases. In addition, this position will assist with research projects - Documents and consistently maintains detailed records and research data and may enter computer for further analysis. May administer and score psychological, intellectual, and/or other medical assessments and tests. May accurately disburse funds to study participants and accurately reconcile grant accounts.

Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Ideal candidate would be an individual with some medical experience (medical assistant training, nursing school, or medical school) with a strong interest in dermatology and allergic contact dermatitis.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to learn information in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent clinical and human relations skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required.
- Requires interaction with a diverse population.
- Knowledge of research methodology for working with human subjects and of general research principles.
- Knowledge of or exposure to psychological, medical, and/or intellectual assessments, and written test instruments.
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop rapport with research subjects, ability to adapt and be flexible, and the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Displays high standards of attendance, punctuality, maintains confidentiality, and manages time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree
