Job Description
Position: Front Desk
Qualifications: Professional yet friendly telephone etiquette. Dental and/or nonprofit experience is helpful but not necessary. Spanish speaking is a plus. High school diploma required.
Reports To: Office Manager / Patient Coordinator
Daily Responsibilities:
- Answer phone
- Providing patient eligibility requirements to callers and walk-ins
- Patient check-in
- Assisting with patient intake
- Taking payments and issuing receipts to patients
- Making copies
- Filing
- Daily waiting room tidying
- Replenishing snacks in break room
- Shredding / document management
Other Responsibilities
- Advocate on behalf of Park Place Health & Dental Clinic
- Represent the agency in a positive and supportive manner
- Help fellow team members when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Performance Evaluation
- Annual evaluations performed by the Office Manager / Patient Coordinator.
- Patient Surveys will be included in evaluation.
Nature and Scope:
The front desk will be responsible to the Office Manager / Patient Coordinator for the undertaking and completion of all job responsibilities. This position allows up to 25 hours a week Monday through Friday. Meetings outside of normal work hours may be required. Individual must be willing to work when necessary to complete assignments.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
