Park Place Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Closer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience closing conventional loans and will be responsible for managing the loan closing process from document preparation to final funding. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Assist in the loan closing process, including document preparation, drawing, review, and funding of loans
- Review title documents for any liens and ensure all necessary actions are taken to resolve them
- Prepare loan documents and maintain a comprehensive doc draw checklist
- Order loan documents from the attorney and ensure timely delivery
- Review and request necessary changes to loan documents to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Calculate and order loan wires to facilitate funding
- Review closed loan packages for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with lien releases and ensure all documentation is properly executed
- Support payoffs by verifying amounts and ensuring accuracy in calculations
- Review all documents for compliance with underwriting guidelines, focusing on property location, loan size, and other parameters
- Maintain effective communication with closing attorneys to confirm document accuracy and alignment with closing timelines
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and contribute to automation initiatives
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in closing conventional loans
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and closing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in reviewing and analyzing legal documents
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with loan processing software and automation tools is a plus
