Parts Counter Associate

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Associate or Assistant Manager. This position involves assisting with inventory management, procurement, department operations, and working closely with Technicians. The ideal candidate will have experience in an automotive parts position or as a technician, a strong desire to learn, and will be highly organized

Key Responsibilities:

· Order parts as needed to fulfill technician needs and ensure timely availability.

· Maintain accurate inventory levels, including regular stock checks, adjustments, and preventing overstocking.

· Manage of sales figures, costs, and stock levels to meet department goals.

·Establish competitive pricing while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.

· Assist in conducting periodic full inventory checks and ensure the department meets performance benchmarks.

· Collaborate with the Parts Manager to develop and maintain relationships with wholesale parts suppliers.

· Organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and well-stocked parts department.

· Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all operational standards.

· Demonstrate a willingness to grow the business and assist in implementing new processes for efficiency.

Qualifications:

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

· Strong desire to learn and grow within the role, with the ability to take on leadership responsibilities over time.

· Ability to work with minimal customer interaction, focusing on internal processes and department management.

· Professional appearance and work ethic.

Pay Range reflects a base plus commissions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
