Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Operate cash registers for processing payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverage orders.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is a plus, along with an understanding of food safety practices.
- Experience in sales or working within a restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of brewing processes can be beneficial for craft beer selections.
