Parker Communications LLC is seeking experienced professionals in the fiber optic construction industry to join our team as Fiber Optic Construction Inspectors. This position is vital to upholding our 30-year commitment to excellence in process, product, and safety. As a Fiber Optic Construction Inspector, you will oversee directional drilling crews to ensure compliance with processes, specifications, and safety standards. You will also prepare daily progress reports and provide problem-solving expertise for the crews and areas you manage.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction crews to meet expectations for quality, process adherence, and safety.
- Submit daily progress and safety/quality reports.
- Enforce process, quality, and safety requirements in the field.
- Maintain detailed records of crew issues, resolutions, and progress.
- Develop and manage weekly punch-out lists for crews.
- Address and resolve public concerns related to crew activities.
- Assist the billing team as needed to ensure accurate documentation of completed work.
- Identify and resolve quality issues before work is finalized.
- Stay organized to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in fiber optic construction.
- Skills: Exceptional time management, quality-conscious work ethic, and strong customer service orientation.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Physical Requirements: Comfortable working outdoors with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Additional Requirements:
- Clean driving record and valid Driver’s License (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to travel as required for projects.
- Willingness to learn and advance within the company.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
