What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounds Associate - 1st Shift position at Parker Hannifin Corporation?
Position Summary
Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual has a keen understanding of working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. If you like attention to detail and safety, this is a great role with visibility to the organization. Some of the day to day functions include weigh up, Mix, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials.

- Read work orders and Batch cards to determine production specifications and information.
- Precision Weigh Up of liquids, adhesives, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
- Perform Mixing operation to batch card requirements.
- Dispense material into proper containers.
- Print and label required product and complete basic packaging
- Record production information using Day by Hour.
- Perform Quality checks as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area. Sustain Safety and 5S program. Other job duties as assigned.

- US Citizenship or Permanent US Resident Status required.
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing experience or batch making required.
- Must have knowledge of weights and be able to use a scale as well as math skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and be able to multi-task.
- Effective communication skills; written as well as verbal.
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
