Home Health Aide (HHA)-Full Time
Now hiring on the following shifts: 11:00am-7:00pm and 6:00am-2:15pm. The schedule includes working rotating weekends
Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking full time Home Health Aides (HHAs) who are looking for a consistent schedule within a professional, caring and team-based environment. We would like to speak with those with a passion for working with seniors! You'll be patient, courteous and tactful with residents, staff, family members and visitors.
A vital and important part of the Escort/Transportation department, the HHA escorts patients/residents to and from various locations throughout the facility and to Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Position Requirements
Current Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate in the state of NY
Prior experience working as an HHA; prior experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility a plus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Someone who likes to be part of a team; contributes as an active team member; helps out the team as needed
