What are the responsibilities and job description for the MARKETING INTERN position at Parker's Kitchen?
With guidance Intern’s participates in and executes the design of the category management process; leads the strategic direction of category(s); learns the processes in how one leads the category management planning process; maximizes sales and profits in assigned categories; learns how to align with corporate marketing goals. Learns and understands sales and profit goals. With guidance will learn how to work with internal teams across marketing, operations, finance, information technology and external vendor partners and key stakeholders to create a replicable customer experience.
Responsibilities :
- Learns concepts about how to develop and implement Brand and Marketing strategies for all in-store categories based on driving customer transactions, sales, gross profit, and increased basket size.
- Will learn how to create and execute on an annual marketing plan drives and increase Parker’s Kitchen brand awareness and loyalty adoption and engagement.
- With guidance and supervision will learn how to lead the category management team in the execution of corporate merchandising strategy.
- Will be taught how to prepare and execute yearly sales and profit plans to meet or exceed corporate strategic and profit goals.
- With guidance will learn to perform detailed analysis of category information; understand implications and propose effective solutions.
- Will learn to demonstrate how to develop effective marketing strategies and tactics for new store openings and ongoing growth in new market.
- Learn how to build solid relationships with all other internal departments to ensure maximum execution on any Marketing Plans and Branding initiatives. Ensure that all employees are focused on the customer experience. Invest time in building relationships with our manufacturer and vendor partners.
- Learn about the marketing of the loyalty program(s), analytics and direct marketing effort.
