Overview
ParkerHouse Property Care is rapidly growing high end landscape maintenance company based in Camden Maine. We are seeking dedicated and experienced people to Lead our landscape crews. This roles include landscape/flowerbed maintenance and installations, spring and fall cleanups, and general landscaping. The ideal candidate will possess prior skills in professional Landscaping but is not required. We will train motivated individuals who have a good work ethic and a desire to be taught. As a member of our team you will be responsible for safely and professionally executing various landscaping tasks, leaving high-end finished products for our clients.
Lawn crew member or crew lead duties
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians in daily operations.
- Execute landscape maintenance activities including Spring and Fall Cleanup, mulching, and planting
- Properly maintain established perennials such as proper pruning.
- Ensure safe and proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools; demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and other crew to provide exceptional service.
Landscape maintenance crew member or crew lead duties
- Lead and supervises a team in daily landscape maintenance (weeding, pruning, mulching, and general flowerbed maintenance tasks. (LEAD ONLY)
- Perform maintenance task such as weeding, pruning, mulching, plant and flowerbed install and renovations, spring and fall cleanups and cutbacks.
- Using hand tools and small power equipment such as backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, shovel, rakes, etc..
Required skills for applicants
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred, but we will train motivated individuals who have a good work ethic and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to operate commercial zero turn mowers. Experience with Walker mowers is a plus but not required
- Ability to identify common plants and proper demonstrate proper pruning and maintenance technique is a plus. Again, we will train the right individuals.
- Experience towing trailers is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of general landscaping practices.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a safe, positive work environment (LEAD ONLY).
- Mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment used in lawn care operations. (LEAD ONLY)
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicles.
