- Safely transport bulk fuel off tank wagon in a professional, efficient, and legal manner
- Operate pumps and valves, fill tanks using various hoses, nozzles, and fittings
- Secure products, hoses, and tools using approved methods like tie downs and straps
- Load and unload tank wagon, frequently lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying products and tools
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer orders, monitor performance data, and report issues to supervisors
- Represent the company professionally to customers, the public, and the trucking industry
- Work with dispatchers to resolve issues, coordinate with management, customers, and fellow employees
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain records as required by state and federal laws
- Follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods, conduct safety inspections, and report vehicle defects or incidents
- Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions, ensuring proper positioning of vehicle and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Demonstrate safe work practices, report incidents, and enforce safety and security policies
- Maintain confidentiality of data collected and stored
- Set priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure technical accuracy of work
- High school diploma preferred
- Experience is preferred but not required
- Valid Class A or B driver's license, clean driving record, current DOT medical card, tanker and hazmat endorsements required
- Skills:
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including winter
- Proficient verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to safely climb ladders and walk on top of truck tanks
- Able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to move and maneuver
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and in-truck driving test
