Hourly Rate : $21.17 - $27.86 per hour DOE, PLUS employer paid retirement, and generous benefits package, Job Classification N1
Hours : 40 hours per week
Workdays : 260 work calendar days (based on full work calendar year)

Overview : The job of "Groundskeeper", is done for the purpose / s of maintaining attractive grounds area / s; ensuring the availability of required equipment; maintaining grounds for assemblies and / or recreational activities; ensuring assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.
Required :
- Ability drive and safely operate district vehicles and equipment
- Regular attendance
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred :

Essential Job Functions :
Maintains landscaping (e.g. lawns, shrubbery, planted areas, irrigation, fences, playgrounds, etc.) for the purpose of preserving grounds in a healthy, attractive and safe condition.Maintains ground keeping equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.Communicates to Supervisor ground issues that need to be addressed (sidewalks, trees, drainage issues, gutters, downspouts, equipment repairs or needs, etc.)Transports various items (e.g. equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of providing materials at job site as required to complete tasks.Other Job Functions :
Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.Requests materials, supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring that adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner.License, Certifications, Bonding, and / or Testing Required :
Valid Class Driver's License and evidence of insurabilityCriminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance (cost to the employee : $12.50 for fingerprints at the time of registration;66.00 for criminal background check will be paid through a one-time payroll deduction)
