Position Overview:
Parks Elementary is seeking a dynamic, innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners to explore a variety of careers. This role is designed to introduce students to career pathways in welding, cosmetology, drone operations, robotics, cybersecurity, and more through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/grade level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of subjects assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
TEACHER PAY SCALE:
Payscale
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Schedule: 187-days
Salary : $45,500 - $65,220
