What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Rio Grande National Forest Camp Host position at Parks Management Companies/Camp One?
The Camp Host is responsible for overseeing and coordinating campground operations and must ensure an exceptional visitor experience. Job duties include, but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, checking in campers, collecting fees, cleaning fire pits, and groundskeeping. Must have a valid driver's license.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reservation management
- Greet guests and answer any questions they may have
- Explain campground layout and direct guests to campsites
- Ensure proper payment is received
- Enforce rules and regulations as outlined by Parks Management Company
- Inventory and stocking of campground supplies to include firewood, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Clean campsites after camper departure
- Maintain bathroom cleanliness and properly stock with essential toiletries
- Rubbish Collection and Consolidation
- Basic grounds keeping including vegetation removal
- Daily financial reporting.
Seeking Camp Hosts for the 2025 season! Season runs from May 8th through September 17th, but is subject to change based on weather. Employees are paid hourly for each hour worked. Each individual must submit their own application.
