PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH is looking for a Student Pastor to join this exciting and fast-paced organization. Parkview is one church with three campus locations in Orland Park, Homer Glen and New Lenox. The Students Team is seeking a full-time Junior High Students Pastor to help carry out the mission of Parkview at the Orland Park Campus.

Responsibilities
- Support & advance the vision for Student Ministry at Parkview Christian Church.
- Recruit, train, develop and care for junior high and high school ministry coaches and volunteers.
- Provide pastoral care, direction and support to junior high and high school students and their families.
- Identify, nurture, and develop leadership in junior high and high school students.
- Develop and deliver engaging and relevant sermons, teachings, and discussions for junior high and high school school students.
- Support the Campus Team and Central Students Team in regular ministry planning and implementation.
- Identify, develop and participate in key milestone moments for junior high and high school students (ex: salvation, baptism, serving, leading in student leadership roles, camps, mission trips, etc.).
- Demonstrate a servant attitude and a strong moral character along with a teamwork philosophy when supporting other areas of ministry and throughout the community.
- Serve as a commissioned pastor of Parkview Christian Church, abiding by the guidelines as a commissioned pastor of Parkview’s Commissioning Policy and performing sacerdotal functions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Students Director in the execution of student ministry duties at the campus level. This includes tasks related to administration, teaching, recruiting, and trips.
- Maintain a strong commitment to growing in knowledge and understanding of God, ministry, and culture.
- Embrace change: willing to adapt to create new initiatives based on learning about teenagers and the needs of Parkview as culture changes.
