Detailing Apprentice

We are a small but quickly growing detailing company that aren't your average detailers. We produce high quality paint correction, ceramic coatings, gel coat restoration and metal polishing for auto and marine. We also offer marine and auto storage.

We are looking to bring on a seasonal intern that could start immediately part time to train with us. Position will be active from Easter to mid-September or later. With possible hiring for full time depending on skills learned through the apprenticeship and amount of work available.

Experience is a plus, but MUST have a passion to learn and treat every client's ride like their own.

Here are a few requirements:

• This is will in a shop setting, but working in the elements is sometimes required
• Must be able to run power tools in-front of you, above your head, awkward positions
• Must be able to handle light office functions, like updating work orders, ringing up customers, invoicing
• Must be able to pay attention directions and details
• Must be respectful of our property as well as customer's property
• Must have reliable transportation to our shop
• Check your ego at the door, you are here to learn
• Must be able to communicate clearly with team and clients
• Be willing to take criticism, once again, you are here to learn, we all have to start somewhere.
• We avoid weekends but rain/illness/reschedules sometimes mess us up. Must be available to work some Saturdays.
• Must be a licensed and insured driver. As well as a clean background and no illegal substance use. Absolutely no smoking of any kind on jobsites or near customer vehicles.

We are looking for the right fit, not just a filler. Job starts at $12/hr with cash tips. This apprenticeship could lead to full time work year round.

• Weekends as needed
