Parkway Health and Rehab is an 87 bed skilled/long term care facility located in the Canton, MS just off of the Nissan Parkway behind Merit Health- Madison. We are looking for a REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR that is passionate about caring for the elderly.

Requirements for Registered Nurses:
- MS Registered Nurse license (unrestricted)
- BLS certification
- Communication And Organizational Skills a must.
Responsibilities for Registered Nurses:
- Lead and/or direct licensed, certified and nonprofessional staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
- Ensure quality nursing care is provided to the residents as prescribed by the physician, in accordance with established facility protocol, and local, state and federal regulations.
- Assess the overall status of the residents and document in the medical record.
- Coordinate, prepare for and assist with new admissions, hospital return transfers, and discharges.
- Communicate with residents, family members, other disciplines and health care professionals regarding the status of the resident. IV Therapy as well as, other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to resident care in a long-term care environment.
- Ability to exercise judgment when making decisions.
- Strong leadership skills

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour

Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
