What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Parkway?
Parkway Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist management in day-to-day parking operations. This position is part of our Parking Operations Team.
Schedule:
Monday and Tuesday - evenings
Wednesday and Thursday – Scheduled days off
Friday - afternoons
Saturday and Sunday - mornings
This position is expected to have schedule flexibility for other shifts.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Abilities:
Safely controls facility traffic by moving cars around the location and other locations as needed, always remaining aware of traffic laws. Uses all spaces efficiently to maximize revenue.
Keeps all pay-on-foot and pay-and-display devices operational by ensuring that they have enough receipts and tickets and performs basic troubleshooting of the devices such as re-booting, unjamming tickets, and credit cards.
Is knowledgeable of the facility's procedures and information and can answer customer inquiries concerning vehicle retrieval, garage or lot restrictions, or general directions or information about the surrounding area.
Assists in keeping the facility clean, secure, and safe. This includes removing snow and ice and maintaining the facility's external perimeter.
Reports to management any problems, accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment trouble.
Follows Parkway policies and manager's directions concerning parking methods, rates, uniform requirements, securing keys, vehicle surveys, and time card procedures.
Accurately and timely completes necessary shift reports.
Assists with training and orienting new employees and incumbents as needed.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
