Benefits
- Explain and interprets company benefits programs to team members.
- Answer questions regarding benefit and group insurance.
- Assist team members with provider claims received.
- Enter COBRA information for eligible team members upon separation of employment.
- Assists and participates in annual benefit enrollment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while managing extensive employee records.
- Maintains a safe working environment keeping area organized.
- Administer the in-take process of all leave of absences requests issuing eligibility notices immediately the leave is received.
- Provides timely notification to Payroll of leaves and creates paper trail to start the leave process for the individual.
- Notifies team member of insurance payments while on leave of absence and tracks payment. Notifies Benefits Manager at the end of each month of past-due payments.
- Maintain accurate records of leave requests, extensions, returns and/or other updates and provide timely notification to departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records by filing and keeping files organized.
- Logs all medical leave notes and notifies departments in a timely manner.
- Must be available to work any given shifts including weekends and holidays. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Able to deal effectively and interact well with all levels of team members, supervisors and manager.
- Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
- Able to communicate clearly with team members.
- Requires strong organizational skills and extensive filing and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other HRIS systems.
- Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, including sorting, organizing, and filing documents.
- Possess a high sense of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the position.

Experience & Skills
- Three years working in a fast-paced environment multi-tasking phones, walk-ins, frequent interruptions.
- Previous experience in leave administration highly desired. Ability to speak any other language preferred.
- Proficiency in ADP or other HRIS platforms and full knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Excel/Word, etc.)
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to lift and organize filing boxes (up to 25 pounds) and work in filing-intensive environment.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
