The Head of Retail Banking is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and performance of the Retail Banking division. This role will have a strong focus on driving profitable growth in Business Banking, while ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a proven record of accomplishment in Business Banking sales and a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the role customer experience plays in driving loyalty and growth.

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in Retail Banking, with a strong focus on small business lending/Business Banking.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to enhance customer outcomes.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience with digital banking and technology-driven solutions that enhance the customer experience.
- Experience in a high-growth environment.
- Community involvement and volunteer experience, with a focus on customer engagement and satisfaction.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share in Business Banking across our retail footprint.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify and target high-growth business segments and anticipate their unique needs.
- Build strong relationships with key business partners and community organizations to deepen customer connections and improve the overall experience for business clients.
- Align the Retail Banking strategy with the overall business objectives and market opportunities.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention in collaboration with SBA Lending, CRA Lending, Client Experience, Treasury Management, Marketing teams; through targeted marketing campaigns and customer relationship management programs that prioritize exceptional service and satisfaction.
- Expand and develop Retail Banking relationships with clients acquired through SBA lending and other digital origination channels.
- Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Retail Banking professionals who share a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer centricity within the team.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members, emphasizing the importance of client experience (CX) as a core metric of success.
- Oversee the daily operations of Retail Banking branches, ensuring they deliver efficient, customer-centric services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and industry best practices, prioritizing trust, and transparency in customer interactions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer satisfaction and Client Experience (CX) related metrics, and take corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience team to champion continuous improvement in customer service and satisfaction across all channels.
- Leverage technology to create seamless, personalized experiences and improve operational efficiency.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive engagement, timely communication, and personalized service that exceeds expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community and marketplace leaders, particularly in niche industries targeted by the bank through its SBA lending practices, by participating in industry events and community initiatives to strengthen the bank's reputation as a customer-focused institution.
