Front of House Team Member

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Parlor Doughnuts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers.

Duties

• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
• Assist in product promotions to promote new items and enhance customer experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Experience in fast food or retail sales environment is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
• Previous experience with POS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of product demos to engage customers and boost sales is beneficial.
