Finance Manager- 32 hours a week Exempt

On-site Grand Junction CO/Remote/or Hybrid. May reside in OR, AZ, or CO

Who we are:

Parlor Games is an Ecommerce company founded September 2020 based in Grand Junction, Colorado. Our products are a line of over-the-counter hormone creams for post-menopausal women, and we focus on education and women’s health empowerment.

What the role is:

The Finance Manager is responsible for making sure all the financial and administrative responsibilities of the company are accomplished competently and on time, with a high degree of accuracy. Reporting primarily to the CEO, and working in concert with the COO, the Finance Manager role will grow and develop as the company too rapidly grows and develops.

Key areas of responsibilities are:

FINANCE

• Responsible for all accounting transactions and reconciliations through timely delivery of financial statements to key stakeholders
• Responsible for accurate calculations of recording of State tax liabilities and timely filings
• Work toward full ownership of month end close and alleviating the CEO of financial operational involvement.
• Developing Operational Budgets with a collaborative approach
• Develop a 12-month cash flow projection and monitor closely.
• Manage AP

PAYROLL

• Prepares bi-weekly multi-State (CO, OR, AZ) Payroll for twenty-five employees, Payroll tax compliance.

HUMAN RESOURCES

• Onboard and Offboard employees, handling benefits coordination and orientation
• 401k administration and compliance
• Act as liaise for employee benefits renewals.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Manage Business Insurance Renewals and correspondence with external Tax Preparers.
• State Business Legal Compliance
• Participate in lease renewal negotiations.

A confident, competent and experienced individual with attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects effectively at one time. You possess a keen sense of pride and ownership in assignments, bringing a sense of humor coupled with effective communication skills to manage internal and external relations on behalf of the owners. You are comfortable in collaborating with individuals across diverse demographics and cultures, with a sensitivity to the health and privacy of Parlor Games’ customers. You excel with resourcefulness and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and system efficiencies. An interest in the holistic health field and supporting women’s health is a huge plus.

What you will bring:

• Proven well rounded accounting, finance, and a broad understanding of business management.
• Eagerly learns new content expertise with new software and possess experience with Wave Apps, very advanced Excel, Ultracart and HubSpot, AvaTax.
• Hands-on experience in performing the key job functions including all bookkeeping.
• A 4-year degree with a focus on accounting and business management and at least 5 years’ experience with handling Accounting/HR/PR/E Commerce or similar environment.
• Proven experience with scaling for growth and developing and leading a finance team.
