We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure high standards of food quality, creativity, and efficiency. They will manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Menu Planning & Development:
- Design and update menus that align with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Develop recipes and ensure consistent quality in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Incorporate customer preferences and feedback into menu enhancements.
2. Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Oversee daily kitchen activities to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality food preparation.
- Prepare meals according to recipes and established quality standards.
- Coordinate with sous chefs and line cooks, ensuring accurate and consistent food preparation.
3. Inventory & Cost Control:
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain quality.
- Monitor food costs, manage portion control, and maintain profitability goals.
- Establish relationships with suppliers for quality ingredients at the best prices.
4. Team Management & Training:
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and maintain kitchen standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and support career development.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure coverage for efficient kitchen operations.
5. Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all kitchen activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
- Handle food storage, preparation, and disposal according to regulatory guidelines.
6. Customer Satisfaction:
- Respond to customer feedback, addressing concerns and refining menu options.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a professional chef, ideally in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen.
