As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Office Manager / Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the efficiency of our in-field services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all office staff and manage day-to-day office operations.
- Supervise accounts receivable and oversee vendor payment approvals.
- Conduct daily checks of emails and phone calls to ensure quality control.
- Train new office staff and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
- Serve as a backup for office staff during absences or high-volume periods.
- Assist with email and phone coverage during peak times.
- Coordinate and schedule snow removal, lawn mowing, and lawn application routes.
- Address escalated client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Participate in leadership meetings to discuss strategies and improvements.
- Direct daily interactions with crews, providing route details and addressing any concerns.
- Respond to incoming client inquiries and send out lawn care proposals.
- Monitor and assess the quality of work performed by other office personnel.
- Obtain & maintain a certified pesticide applicator 3.0 license.
- Lead the client year to year renewal process and coordinating with other team members as needed.
- Manage and respond to all forwarded phone calls and emails.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Dispatcher, or similar role, preferably in the lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Experience in customer service and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in using office management software and communication tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
