The Financial Reporting Intern will work closely with Finance leadership and team members on a variety of accounting & finance related topics, with strong focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. This position will provide valuable hands-on experiences that will cultivate working knowledge and expertise in the Accounting & Finance disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and advancing their financial, reporting, and professional skillsets to the next level. This position will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple requests within a fast-paced environment.

We are currently looking for a :

Park Support Center - AP / AR Finance Intern (Summer 2025)

Roles & Responsibilities :

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily creation, deposit, and application of AR payments collected in external systems; perform weekly payment reconciliations
  • Perform bi-weekly reconciliation of accounts receivable invoices in Workday against the Point of Sale (POS) system; participate in identifying and resolving account imbalance issues
  • Process Account Payable invoices; assist in troubleshooting AP issues with parks
  • Participate in Finance-related special projects and ad-hoc requests, as assigned
  • Shadow other Finance team members to gain valuable exposure to a variety of accounting and finance-related activities
  • Perform administrative duties and data-entry, as needed
  • Assist with Point of Sale (POS) product creation, as needed
  • Assist with revenue report distribution, as needed
  • Assist with data management, as needed
  • Propose and implement process improvements to streamline financial processes and reporting
  • All other duties assigned by leadership

Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a bachelor's or master's degree program, with a concentration in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or Business Management
  • Previous related work or internship experience is a plus
  • Previous hospitality, amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience preferred
  • Language : Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

    Requirements :

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shift
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines with strong accuracy and precision
  • Previous experience in AR / AP, Point of Sale (POS), and / or revenue recognition a plus
  • Ability to use office technology and equipment, such as PC, software, and copier
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to audiences of varying skill and knowledge levels
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, while using a computer
  • Ability to occasionally stand or walk for periods of time during special events
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more
  • Working Conditions :

  • This role will primarily be based in a corporate office environment
  • Subject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive requests
