Sales Director

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to join our team. This role involves driving revenue growth by actively seeking new business opportunities, managing and nurturing client relationships, and acting as the primary liaison between clients and our company. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships are essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Drive Revenue Growth
    - Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities (hunting).
    - Collaborate with the engineering and presales team on proposals and presentations.
    - Develop and implement client engagement strategies and account plans.
    - Oversee the entire sales process, including lead qualification, pre-sales activities, quoting, contract completion, and closing.

  2. Manage and Build Client Relationships (Farming)
    - Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and
    retention.
    - Understand client needs and tailor the company's solutions accordingly.
    - Regularly communicate with clients to identify potential issues and offer solutions.
    - Provide updates on company offerings, product roadmaps, and industry trends.
    - Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the company's solutions to existing clients.
    - Focus on growing existing accounts and maximizing their potential.

  3. Liaise and Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    - Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the company's development team to ensure client requirements are understood and implemented.
    - Manage client expectations with the delivery team, ensuring on-time and withinbudget deliverables.
    - Work closely with delivery and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
    - Advocate for client needs within the company and ensure that offerings meet client requirements.
    -  Create and negotiate complex quotes, RFIs/RFPs, and contracts, managing sales negotiations at the decision-making level.

    Requirements:

    - BA in Business Administration or related field, or BS in Computer Science.
    - Proven experience in client relationship management in the software or technology sector, with a track record of selling solutions or services at an executive level.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and achieve defined quotas (revenue, margin, bookings).
    - Experience with offshore teams is a plus.
    - CRM experience.
    - Comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical executives
