Compensation: 90K/Year
Role Summary:
We are looking for an excellent Staff Accountant with hands on Public Accounting experience to support one of our long term clients in the Libertyville, IL. This client is well known Public Accounting firm and leading the industry since last 50 years. This position is an opportunity to work with a globally recognized firm which is still growing rapidly.
In this role, you will be responsible for tax planning and preparation for individuals and corporates while compiling and updating the financial statements.
To qualify on this role, you must have experience with Public Accounting, CPA designation (pursuing will also be considered) and accounting applications such as Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Plan and prepare Income Tax for individuals and Corporates
- Compile, update and review the financial statements
- Prepare Sales and Payroll Tax Retunes
- Provide support in Bookkeeping and Audits
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Masters is a plus)
- CPA designation (In progress will be considered as well)
- At least 5 years of hands on experience with Public Accounting preparing tax returns and Bookkeeping
- Hands on experience with Accounting applications such as Lacerte, Ultra Tax, Accounting CS and QuickBooks
