Job Description :
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Systems Administrator to join our team to provide the United States Marine Corps advanced Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities! We have unparalleled tactical-to-strategic level experience in building, securing, and operating critical mission systems. As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave operational networks.
Must reside within 50 miles of the Fredericksburg Va office location. The work schedule will be a hybrid of in office and remote. Some work will be conducted at Summit Point, WV and Dahlgren , Va. There may be occasional CONUS travel to support project work.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Manage IT Infrastructure : Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, networks, sensors, and other IT infrastructure.
- System Performance Monitoring : Continuously monitor system performance and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. These activities include managing system and server resources - performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability; monitoring and maintaining system and server configurations; performing repairs on faulty system and server hardware; and troubleshooting hardware / software interface and interoperability problems.
- Security Management : Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and potential threats. These activities include :
Maintaining baseline system security according to organizational policies.
Managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
Planning, executing, and verifying data redundancy and system recovery procedures.
Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.

Salary Range :
83,300.00 - $145,800.00
