Our Parsons Seattle office is now hiring for a Senior CAD Designer/Drafter to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in Washington State and beyond. Hybrid remote work allowed (meaning, working from home 0-5 days per week) . This role supports civil road, rail and highway, and structural bridge or tunnel projects.

Job Description
Our Parsons Seattle office is now hiring for a Senior CAD Designer/Drafter to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in Washington State and beyond. What You'll Be Doing
- Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projects
- Design drafting for roadway and/or bridge projects for WSDOT, Sound Transit and other clients
- Use drafting and design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements.
- Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups
- Utilize ProjectWise or Autodesk Construction Cloud file management system as directed
- Support projects for Sound Transit, WSDOT and other clients
- Possibly some bridge structural projects support as wel
- 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 4 years of related experience.
- Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of road and highway projects is essential
- Proficiency with either Microstation and/or Autocad Civil 3D software
- Willingness to work in a team environment and to learn from more experienced peers
