Position Overview: We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Associate to provide in-home and in-office support services to clients of all ages. This flexible position allows you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance. However peek times are from 3pm-5:30pm, must be available to support children afterschool.
Hours:
- 25-30 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Afternoon, evening, and occasional Saturday availability required
- Schedule varies based on client needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skill training and support for crisis management
- Assist with medication adherence and side effect monitoring
- Help clients access and utilize community resources
- Teach emotional regulation and interpersonal skills
- Support parents with effective parenting strategies
- Assist with practical life skills like financial management and shopping
- Implement treatment plans developed by counselors
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year full-time experience working with individuals receiving mental health or co-occurring disorder treatment
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
