What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Supplies - Order Loader / Stager position at Parsons Rocks?
Parsons Rocks supplies/delivers landscape products to contractors and homeowners throughout Henderson/Las Vegas. (We do not install the products.)
We are looking to add one to two part-time or full-time super-stars to our yard person / machinery operator team to help us in this growing and fast-paced industry.
Start working immediately!
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to)...
- Work is performed outdoors (summer and winter)
- Stacking / Staging / Labeling Delivery orders correctly... both on your own or with others
- Safely operate a Fork-lift (outdoors, on gravel)
- Loading customers in a safe and courteous manner
- Operate an artificial turf cutting machine
- Safely operate a Front-end loader to load trucks and trailers
- Maintain equipment - clean and grease daily/weekly
- Process yard orders quickly and accurately for waiting customer
- Keep the yard clean and free of debris
- Ability to take verbal orders and constructive criticism
- Availability to work Saturdays...required
- 30-40 hours a week (overtime available)

Schedules run between 6a - 4p... we are looking for people who can work shifts between those times (example 6a-2p, 7a-3p or 8a-4p) and Saturdays.

Qualifications...
- Knowledge of landscaping materials... a plus
- Fork-lift experience... a plus
- Heavy Equipment experience... a plus
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, fast-paced and team/results driven
- Common sense... required
- Teamwork skills..._ required _
- High School education or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Willingness to do what's needed, when it's needed
- Ability to pass random, unannounced Drug/Alcohol Screenings
- Able to lift 100 pound bags, occasionally
- Bilingual... a plus
STARTING PAY: $15-$17 hour
