Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Aegis Requirements Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
What You'll Be Doing:
Will be responsible for assessing the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next generation of missile defense systems
Will be responsible for the various Sea-based Weapons Systems Program Offices to assess the complete Fleet based mission Defense capability against stated requirements
Will be responsible to the Chief Engineers and Chief system Engineer to assess and identify gaps in current base line technical and operational capabilities as well as identifying areas for potential modernization of existing baseline
Will be responsible for all areas of requirements including drafting, analyzing, assessing, and verifying
Will be required to resolve complex technical issues as well as provide potential solutions to senior members of the Program Offices as well the Missile Defense Agency
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
Master's degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20 years of relevant experience
12 years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs
Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
Ability to provide program oversite and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program office and MDA Leadership
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
Experience with Weapon System Development
Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
