Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Biometrics and Forensics Subject Matter Expert to join our team! In this role you will support the Senior Director of Strategic Solutions and Growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Advise the Director of Strategic Solutions on development and deployment of forensic laboratories and technologies for use in various environments, including wartime and maritime settings.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, government entities, and academic institutions.
- Provide strategic information on opportunities in forensics and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy.
- Represent Parsons within the governmental and forensic science communities, promoting our Identity mission and raising our public profile.
- Advise on the development and implementation of forensic science capabilities, including drug and explosive chemistry, fire debris analysis, forensic intelligence, and emerging forensic technologies.
- Develop strategies to secure foreign military sales, grants, and contract-funded projects, ensuring successful outcomes and compliance.
- Advise on the development of new biometrics and forensic science initiatives and programs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in the forensic science community, with a strong background in biometrics, drug and explosive chemistry, fire debris analysis, forensic intelligence, and emerging forensic technologies.
- Proven leadership and Subject Matter Expertise experience, including roles as a laboratory director, executive director, and chief executive officer.
- Experience managing and leading foreign military sales, grants, and contracts through periods of economic and industry change.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing forensic science programs and initiatives. Extensive courtroom experience, including testimonies as a forensics/evidence expert.
