Senior Aegis Weapons Systems Specialist
As a Senior Aegis Weapons Systems Specialist at Parsons, you will be part of a talented and mission-oriented team developing and integrating the Aegis Weapons System.
About the Role:
- You will provide technical support to the MDA AB program office in integrating a developmental architecture into the Aegis Weapons System.
- Your primary responsibility will be to streamline the integration process to meet schedule, cost, and risk reduction requirements.
- You will also be responsible for data management and configuration management, ensuring seamless system integration.
- In addition, you will provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in working groups as needed.
- Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the integration and validation of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.
- You will also provide program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management.
- Your skills will enable you to support all elements of the systems engineering V-Model.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance is required.
- A Master's Degree in a STEM field is essential.
- With 12 years of experience, you will have a strong background in systems engineering and missile defense.
- As an independent thinker and team player, you will be able to lead teams and tasks effectively.
- Your ability to apply engineering rigor to solve complex problems will be invaluable.
- Familiarity with Aegis Weapon Systems is highly desirable.
Desired Skills:
- An Active TS/SCI Clearance would be advantageous.
- Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems is highly valued.
- Experience with Missile Systems Engineering would be beneficial.
- Technical expertise in fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, or Aegis Qualifications would be a plus.
