Job Description:
As a mid-sized company, ParsonsKellogg offers interns the opportunity to collaborate closely with departments such as Sales, Creative/Marketing, Ecommerce, and Operations. This exposure allows interns to gain a comprehensive understanding of various tasks and projects.
The Sales & Marketing Intern specifically supports our Key Account team. Their primary role is to assist in maintaining and expanding relationships with our largest corporate clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Key Account Managers by providing day-to-day customer service and support to ensure the effective execution of customer objectives in sales and marketing
- Developing customized forms and microsite platforms to efficiently gather order information from customers.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Responsible for composing client correspondence, creating presentations, and maintaining databases
- Supporting specific key account teams by executing quotes and order entry
Qualifications:
- Flexibility to be in our office in East Providence at least twice/week for at least 4 hrs
- General knowledge and interest in the retail apparel brands we sell
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with strict deadlines
- Number-driven person with an interest in Sales
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and the ability to learn our in-house ERP
- Experience in customer service, retail, and or promotional products is a plus
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
- Demonstrates a professional, team first attitude towards work and co-workers
