We are looking for a skilled Part-Time Accountant to provide financial support for a few small companies, all owned by the same family. Our work environment is social, creative, and collaborative, and we value a detail-oriented professional who can help keep our financials in order while contributing to our team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify cash balances.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to gather financial data as needed.
- Collaborate with CPA for tax preparation
Requirements:
- This is an in-person position based in our office. Remote work is not available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
